Accidental Saints
There are no accidental saints.
Saints are sinners who became intentional about becoming saints.
Every believer is meant to be a saint.
A saint is someone set apart to live for Jesus.
But, not every believer is intentional about sainthood.
Why? They don't have a plan.
Scriptures tells us to work out our salvation. - Phil.2
That requires an intentional routine.
People work on a retirement plan.Meal prep plan. Exercise plan. Business plan.
Where is the sainthood plan?
Most people dabble with Christianity, but want amazing results. People put in part-time effort and want full-time reward.
By the way, we are not talking about earning salvation, but working out whats already yours in Christ by grace.
I find those who take their sainthood seriously to be very selective people. Even picky at times. They value their time, so they schedule things including prayer, reading, fasting and so on… They value their energy, so they don't do things that saps valuable energy away from what is truly important.
Their inner circle is refined.
Because they know they become like the people they spend most of their time with.
Psalms 1:1
They live on mission.
They know that they are on this earth for a limited time and want to make the most of out of it.
They are generous.
They are not bound by material things.
They live life with an open hand.
They understand that everything is a gift from God.
To be continued (sainthood takes a lifetime:)
