Be The Church.

There are many approaches to Christianity and Church.

As followers of Jesus, we must do our best to try and emulate the examples that we find in Scriptures. It is the closest thing that we have to the heart of God and His will for His people.

I think Blaise Pascal said it best, “God created us in His image, and then we returned the favor.” In other words, we have tendency to conform God and Church into what is most comfortable for us.

I think most people miss the heart of God, because of this selfish approach.

We want to be in control and do only what we feel comfortable to do and justify it with selfish motives and feel good intentions.

When I read the Bible, I get convicted by how far removed sometimes we are from the examples of those that lived before us.

My heart longs to live for God and for His people to truly resemble the people of God.

Just coming to a church service and give God a couple of hours a week, does not seem to be what God had in mind.

It is clear that God wants a family. He wants to adopt as many people as possible through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus.

God wants an army of people filled with grace and truth. People who will fight for justice, truth and righteousness.

God wants a body of believers, where each person takes ownership and helps to develop His will in a local gathering of saints called the church.

Don’t just go to church. Be the church.
