What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well” – but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?” James 2:14-16 (NLT) When someone claims to have faith, that person may have given only scholarly acceptance or an agreement with Christian teachings. This is not complete faith. True faith transforms our conduct, as well as our thoughts. If we do not change the way we treat others, we have not truly digested the truths we claim to be.
“For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.” Matthew 25:35-36 (NLT)

Heavenly Father, thank You for the blessings You have provided for us and helping us to provide blessings for other families as well. Thank You for the freedom You have given us. We praise You, Father, for the continued guidance and support You have given us and for the protection You give Lord, to our families. Please, Heavenly Father, continue to show us the right path to follow and to give us the wisdom and the knowledge to stay away from evil. Through You, Lord, everything is possible. Please Father, continue to help our church grow and bless each family in need from any illness, addiction, or financial burden they may have. We cannot thank You nor praise You enough for all the blessings we have received and continue to receive every day. Please Father, continue to watch over us and help us to grow in Your word. I ask You this, Dear Father, in the name of your Son Jesus, Amen.
