Spend 5 minutes in the Word
“Then a man named Jairus, a synagogue leader, came and fell at Jesus’ feet, pleading with him to come to his house because his only daughter, a girl of about twelve, was dying. As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him. And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. “Who touched me?” Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you.” But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.” Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”” - (Luke 8:42-48 NIV)
Spend 5 minutes in Prayer
Dear Father,
This week I have prayed to remain obedient in Your calling for this season of my life. I have prayed for strength to withstand temptation through becoming rooted in Your word, as Jesus did, because I know that trials only strengthen my faith. Today father I pray in an unbreakable faith. I pray in the faith of a mustard seed, that I may move mountains in my life. Father I pray over every situation I am encountering, that it is in Your hands Father, and there will be peace, clarity, and miracles abundant. I pray for healing, I pray for restoration, I pray for breakthrough, and I pray for peace Father. I thank You Father in advance for the things You will do in my life, for the ways You will use me. I thank You Father for what You have already done, and for the ground I stand on today. I pray all of this, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
